- Students who want to apply for UP Scholarship must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh or have a residence certificate of UP Citizens of India can apply for this scheme
- Students should be studying in class 9 or 10th for circumscription and 10+ for post-matric.
- The annual income of the family of the applying student should not be more than Rs 2.5 lakh.
